Along this itinerary, between gentle climbs and descents, you will discover some of the most enchanting places in the hills of Friuli Venezia Giulia, here you will come across ancient manors and breathtaking views.
Throughout the tour you can stop to taste some local products. Starting from Fagagna, you can taste the pestàt of the same name, a condiment-preserve created to preserve the scents and flavours of autumn vegetables and herbs in pork lard.
Continuing the journey, you will reach the charming town of San Daniele del Friuli, where you can taste San Daniele PDO ham, the result of an ancient tradition of ham processing .
Of course, you cannot miss a good glass of wine from the Friuli Grave DOC area, even better if tasted together with the producers, in one of the many small wineries of the area, characterized by limited production, but with a high level of quality, such as Arcania Vino Biologico or Truant wine.
This loop route starts from Fagagna and, through small rural villages and hilly landscapes, will lead you to San Daniele del Friuli.
