Tulip Garden – Rive d'Arcano (about 5 minutes from the village)
A large field of tulips welcomes visitors for a stroll among the colours of spring.
The garden is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00 and has a picnic area.
Visitors can also pick tulips and create their own bouquet.
From 29th March to the end October 2026 (Sundays and public holidays)
Oasi delle Cicogne – Fagagna (just a 3-minute drive away)
A nature reserve dedicated to wildlife conservation.
Visitors can observe white storks, northern bald ibises, herons and Konik horses in a protected environment.
The oasis is open from 10:00 to 18:00.

Theatrical performance of the Passion of Christ in Ciconicco (a few minutes from Borgo Terra Village)
A traditional folk event that takes place in Ciconicco, a small hamlet in the municipality of Fagagna.
The Passion of Christ is performed on top of the village hill, transforming it into an open-air theatre.
5th and 6th April 2026
The Truc egg game – Cividale del Friuli (about 40 minutes by car)
Truc is an ancient Easter tradition in the Cividale area.
Players roll coloured eggs along an oval sand track. The aim is to make the eggs touch each other.
The eggs are decorated with wildflowers and boiled using a traditional technique that creates natural patterns on the shell.
25th and 26th April 2026
A special weekend dedicated to historic villas and noble residences in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Many of these buildings are usually closed to the public and only open during this event. In Fagagna, Casaforte La Brunelde and Casa Asquini, just a few minutes from our village, will open their doors for the occasion.

Far East Film Festival – Udine (about 15 minutes from the village)
Udine hosts one of the most important European festivals dedicated to Asian cinema.
The programme includes film screenings, previews and meetings with directors and actors.

Andrea Bocelli Concert – Gemona del Friuli
The famous tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform in a free concert dedicated to the memory of the victims of the 1976 Friuli earthquake.
In 2026, the region will commemorate the 50th anniversary of this tragic event.

Vicino/Lontano Festival – Terzani Prize – Udine (about 15 minutes by car)
An important cultural festival dedicated to dialogue between cultures and contemporary global issues.
The historic centre of Udine hosts debates, exhibitions, conferences and live events with international guests.

Sapori Pro Loco – Villa Manin, Passariano di Codroipo (about 30 minutes away)
A large regional food festival celebrating the traditional cuisine of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Local associations present typical dishes and regional specialities, offering visitors a journey through the flavours of the area.

A very popular event among wine lovers.
Many wineries in Friuli Venezia Giulia open their cellars to visitors with tastings and guided tours.
It is an excellent opportunity to meet local producers and discover the region's wine-making traditions.
